Where Has The Year Gone?
I simply can not believe it has been one whole year since we ran the 2007 La Carrera Panamericana let alone how long it has been since I said, "Hey Jon, Let's go run that Mexican race. What do ya say?" This day a year ago Lucky was tied down in the trailer and Will and I were ready to leave for the long drive to the south of Mexico. Along the way we would spend some time racing at Bob Bondurant's track before meeting up with Gerie Bledsoe, then a couple days hooking up with other Coyote Convoy gangs before crossing the border.
Then there was the drive to San Miguel Miguel de Allende for some welcome layover before the long drive to Oxaxca. There is so much to see along the way but the truth is, my mind never stopped thinking aboit what lay ahead. Just getting to the start of the race is an adventure in it's self but we all know the real adventure doesn't start until the green flag is lifted off your windshield. Then it's every team for themselves!

I guess we connected just before you took off for your "gran aventura". Time does fly, but c'est la vie!
You don't seem to stop ... as long as the fun continues, eh?
And there's always next year's La Carrera ...
