NEVER Say Die. Lucky Taco Catching Up With Race!

“Life is a storm my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into that storm and shout, as you did in Rome, ‘Do your worst…for I will do mine.’”

~Count of Monte Christo

There are those who when they encounter a little adversity tuck their tail between their legs and call it quits. Then there are those who look adversity in the face and saw is that all you got!

I just spoke to Clyde Morter Piloto of the #421 Oldsmobile. His entire team spent the entire day in Queretaro where they finally found some help. Nope... It wasn't a Ferrari dealership but in Clyde's own words, "They were a bunch of BIG Mexicans with BIG pry bars and a big-assed torch and they bent things back where they belong. We have a tie-down for a hood strap and one head light points down and one points up so we got everything covered."

At this time the team is hauling ass hundreds of miles to catch up with the race in San Luis Potosi where they will still have to find a tech inspector to check out the repairs and sign it off as safe. With any luck they will be able to resume the race starting tomorrow in San Luis Potosi and end up in Guadalajara. Who knows, there just might be some good fortune in their taco yet. Good Luck Team Luck Taco.
