I got a hot scoop for you....

Today I finished installing the side scoops as well as the functional rear brake ducts. All Shelbys had the side scoops but very few were in fact functional. They are a great help in cooling the rear brakes. You have no idea how hard it is to take a three and a half inch hole saw and begin cutting a hole right in the side of a car with a brand new paint job on it and if that isn't enough then I had to perfectly align and drill holes to attach the side scoops as well. Whew... am I glad that's done successfully!

Come on now REALLY!! You should have made a sport out of it and shot the holes in there. The car is looking really good I do know what you mean about drilling through new paint and all the work that went into it. Show car you worry, Race car war stories.

Great idea George! I used to perform lots of shooting exhibitions both with shotguns and rifles. One of the routines I used to perform was using a 22 rifle to shoot out silhouettes of Indian Chiefs and Buffalo heads. Now you have me wondering if I should shoot out a Mustang in the trunk of my car. LOL.

Thanks for the encouragement and reminding me it's only a race car. Funny we are talking about these two subjects. When I first met my Olympic shooting coach back in the 70's he used to tell me how he felt about guys that bragged about how expensive their guns were. He compared them to guys with fancy cars as he said, "Ya know, there's an old saying amongst car guys that says, "If it don't go... chrome it."
