Update From Gerie Bledsoe
Gerie Bledsoe wrote, "We got this results of day one this morning before we started. We finished 49th of 115 cars. 27 did not finish the day. Today, the second day of the event, we did well and should move much higher in the standings. Not too many accidents today, but more mechanical problems. The people were very appreciative in Tehuacan and Puebla, where we are for the night. We race to Queretaro tomorrow, bypassing Mexico City."
