Meet Lucky the mascot

Anyone crazy enough to enter a race that starts at the border of Guatemala, then drive as fast as you can along public highways with no guard rails, dangerous cliffs, sharp curves, roaming livestock, barren desert, overgrown jungle and washed out roads and then party each night, then get up early and do it all over again for 7 days straight needs someone who is up to the challenge. All this will require members who are quick on their feet, intelligent, and good looking. That is why we decided to invite Lucky himself along to get things off to a good start. Here is Lucky with his demonstration on how he intends to drive the La Carrera Panamericana.

Hey George,

I'm looking forward to meeting Tom as well and I'm sure we'll have a great time. I didn't know you guys had a head gasket or cooling problem. Do you know if the head gasket was coated with copper coat when it was installed?

We hope we solved the problem last night with the head gasket. We lsot #1 gasket just outside of Monterrey blew out by #3 cylinder #2 leaked by the water jacket by #1 cylinder we had the head sanded by a head shop and gasket #3 blew by #1 cylinder. Tom took the head to someone else and found out we had two problems bad grind job and bad head gasket we blued the head and top of the block and did a fit up metal to metal now everything is pretty flat. We do plan on using copper coat had a discussion about that an we feel it is the best way to go. We will know more once we get the car back together.
