Can You Believe It?
Hershel McGriff has taken a brand new race car that he had not even had a chance to test until last week and attempted to qualified it today at InFineon Raceway for tomorrow's Bennett Lane Winery 200 presented by Supercuts NASCAR Camping World Series West but unfortunately things didn't go as well as expected. Hershel missed qualifying by 2/1000s of a second. To say Hershel is upset would be putting it mildly but that's what anyone who knows him would expect and nothing less. Hershel has never known anything but success and winning but it's like I told Hershel a few minutes ago... By no means can anyone suggest he's anything but a winner. After all, how many men can say they were out trying to qualify a car on Father's Day weekend when they were 81 years old.
Let's all wish Hershel a wonderful Father's Day and I am sure he will have a much better showing at the next race in this series at Portland.

Oh no - that sucks!
But wait, it looks like it might still happen:
