Update From Gerie Bledsoe

After six days on the road we arrived in Tuxtla Gutierrez, in the jungles of southern Mexico, the start of the Carrera Panamericana on Friday. We covered 3600 miles during our drive, but were able to stop in San Miguel de Allende for two nights. Now we are preparing the race car. There is road damage from the hurricanes that plagued Mexico this year. The roads will be more challenging than usual.
