Heartbreak Happens But It's What You Do With It That Matters

This is a story that will play out many times in the following days ahead and this is what makes LCP so exciting and rewarding. Men & Mice.

The first moments of any endurance race are nail bitters more so than even the finish. This is the time that not only teams begin getting rid of the jitters nd pre-race tension that has been culminating for many months and begin finding their rhythm but in fact this is when we get to see what the car is made of and how well it's going to do. How good was the preparation, are there any defective parts, is all the wiring far enough away from the exaust or rubs, is EVERYTHING on the car PERFECT?

After reading a note from my very good friend Ralf Christensson from Sweden who is driving the Mats Hammarlund #105 Volvo in which I could feel his frustration I really felt bad. But I am one of those guys who sees a silver lining in every cloud. What I find refreshing even though Ralf's chances for a championship have been dashed on the rocks because of a bad wheel bearing that left his along side the road he is a real racer and one that understands these things happen and he will still give it his very best when the race starts today. Besides, this race is FAR FROM BEING OVER and ANYTHING can happen.
