First Crash
I have just learned that the #404 Lincoln driven by Brad Kaplan and navigated by Derek Dwyer crashed around 11:30. I am still waiting to learn more details about the team and the car.
Thats a good question. I had to wonder if the top and roll cage had to be cut away with the top to extract the driver or if the crash was just that bad.
Wow, I hope that they're OK! I wondered the same about the cage.
I apologize for sharing only sketchy details, but thought I would let you know that on the stop at around 12:15 their time, my husband (driving the #353 Dodge Dart) sent me a text saying "several people have crashed already." He wasn't one of them, but I was still sad to hear it. He started in 23rd position so I am guessing most of them were people who started in front of him.
I just hope that all drivers, co-drivers, crews, spectators, etc. are uninjured.
Prayers with you. Where's the cage?
