This is Nates first year and Richard has done this in the past. I too want to go next year to see it all. I loved seeing the pictures. He has a website where you can follow his progress and find out more about the race. He said he's going to try update about every other day. Check it out if you're interested: http://www.luchalibreracing.com

Good luck to all!Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04001321529022213271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1697377695611860006.post-43729389689511371732008-10-26T15:59:00.000-07:002008-10-26T15:59:00.000-07:00Lauren,I think I'm turning blue from holding my br...Lauren,

I think I'm turning blue from holding my breath. Dad has been calling at night giving brief reports, mostly that they made it to the next town and are mostly in one piece…they are having problems with their power steering belt…again. Just wanted to tell you that you are doing an excellent job reporting. However, I find myself holding my breath when I bring up your site! Thank you for the great info!
Chasing cows at home, LaurenLSchellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13998815678498551716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1697377695611860006.post-88030336666947263102008-10-26T14:33:00.000-07:002008-10-26T14:33:00.000-07:00Sorry Gary, I did mean Lucky not Lucy. And I agree,...Sorry Gary, I did mean Lucky not Lucy.
And I agree, the updating from Mexico is not at the speed I want. As you say, from Mexico City it should be a breeze, specialy from the organization itself.
But it's Mexico, and we all know how that is!LosVikingos_Ralfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06212099130669065315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1697377695611860006.post-16059188507127957242008-10-26T11:11:00.000-07:002008-10-26T11:11:00.000-07:00Hello Ralf,It's always great hearing from another ...Hello Ralf,

It's always great hearing from another competitor, especially one who drives a Ford. :)

I sure wish I could get results faster. This waiting is killing me. It's as if the entire world has been cut off as soon as everyone reached Mexico City and there is NO REPORTS from anyone! You would think as big as Mexico City is that there would be lots of reporting going on. On the other hand as you and I both know the teams are kept very busy and there isn't a lot of time to be sitting on the computer.

Jon and I look forward to racing with you again and believe me we miss it as much as you do my friend. But when we do meet again it will be in Lucky!Gary Fauleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04875526477448719491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1697377695611860006.post-83711845752912510282008-10-26T11:06:00.000-07:002008-10-26T11:06:00.000-07:00Sergio,Thank you for your kind comments and I am g...Sergio,

Thank you for your kind comments and I am glad you are enjoying the blog. I do envy you for going down to Aliende.
Next year we both run again.
I also check the internet several times a day for updates.
Seems to be going great for most of the gangs. This is typical of racing in Mexico and the next time you hear someone say "You never know what will be around the next corner." rest assured they mean it literaly.Gary Fauleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04875526477448719491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1697377695611860006.post-14654101345724835852008-10-25T21:34:00.000-07:002008-10-25T21:34:00.000-07:00Ok, that's enough to get my attention.
